RELOCATING A NEW PIERCING:

PIERCING POSITIONING & RE-POSITIONING POLICY

You must contact BabyEarPiercing.com within forty-eight (48) hours of your piercing service if you wish to request an adjustment or change in the positioning of your new piercing.

Occasionally, the planned or completed placement of a piercing may not appear aesthetically pleasing to you, your practitioner, or by mutual agreement. Allowing your Licensed Safe Body Art Practitioner to evaluate and, when appropriate, immediately adjust the placement is often the best solution.

When eligible, re-positioning is typically quick and most often does not leave visible evidence that an adjustment has taken place.

While specific professional techniques may be used during the piercing service to achieve the desired final placement, additional aftercare actions may also be recommended to help achieve or maintain the intended positioning.

Please acknowledge that the immediate or long-term outcome of piercing placement may differ from expectations. Due to factors including, but not limited to:

  • Individual body and ear anatomy

  • Front and back ear shape and structure

  • Previous piercing placements

  • Tissue behavior and healing response

  • Lifestyle, movement, or external influences

It may sometimes be difficult or impossible to maintain a piercing in an exact location over time, even when initially placed correctly.

Ayubb and Angel, DEH Licensed Safe Body Art Practitioners, strive to make clear, conscious, and professional placement decisions for every piercing service.

Our goal is to achieve the best immediate placement and positioning possible, while prioritizing safety, anatomy, healing, and long-term success.
